SHEIKH KHALIFA BIN ZAYED AL NAHYAN
INSTITUTE FOR PERSONALIZED CANCER THERAPY
Project Year 2014
Interior Design: Courtney Harper & Partners
The Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Institute for Personalized Cancer Therapy is part of the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. It prides itself on offering less invasive and more attractive options for cancer patients. That drive for options and attention to detail led to the specification of Dreamwalls Color Glass for the interior.
The new 12-story building utilized elevator lobbys featuring
Dreamwalls Color Glass in a velvety, matte finish to create calm, soothing walls that are easy to clean and do not show fingerprints.
The 3/8” thick glass substrate used was all Starphire® low-iron for optimal color clarity of the white backpainted glass. Each piece was fabricated to the specification that varied from floor to floor throughout 7 floors on 2 wings and was labeled and packaged for optimal ease in installation.
